The Riva is one of those hotels where you immediately feel at home in this casual but distinguished atmosphere. The hotel consists of an Art Nouveau old building and a new building built in 2008, the Art Nouveau villa houses the suites and on the ground floor the Gourmet Restaurant Ophelia. In the new building there are most of the rooms and the classic restaurant area with attached bar. The breakfast offer is strongly based on regional specialities such as fried fillet of Lake Constance and Zurich sliced meat. There is a small spa on the second floor. But the highlight is the pool on the roof of the new building with a wild meadow and a phenomenal view of the Bodensee/ Konstanzer Trichter. In the summer you can order small snacks and drinks in the adjacent bar. The rooms are modern and simply furnished. Some of the rooms have beautiful details such as sun blinds between the bathroom and the sleeping area, which give the rooms a special touch, and small extras such as a roll on the door for the daily newspaper show that the Riva is thought of everything to make the guest’s stay more pleasant.
